The latest Professor Layton game will star the Professor’s daughter, and be released for smartphones as well as 3DS.
Professor Layton fans will be pleased to know that developer Level 5 has just announced the latest title in the series. The new game will not star the Professor himself, but rather, his daughter: Cattley Eyl Layton. It is appropriately titled “Lady Layton“.
Not too much is known about the game, but you can check out the Japanese reveal trailer above. We know it will star Cattley, bet set in London, and feature a talking dog. We also know that it will be released for both smartphones (iOS and Android) and 3DS, unlike the last Layton game which was smartphone exclusive.
The game will be released in Japan in “Spring 2017”, and we have no word on an English release as of yet.
