Mass Effect: Andromeda Release Date May Have Been Revealed by an Amazon Comic Listing

We may know the release date for Mass Effect: Andromeda thanks to a comic book listing on Amazon.

Dark Horse Comics has already announced that it will release “The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda” on March 21, 2017. But the Amazon.com listing for the book contains some information that we didn’t know. That’s apparently the release date for the game as well.

When the listing popped up on Amazon, it contained a blurb that may have revealed more than intended. It read (and still reads), “Dark Horse will release The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda simultaneously with the game!”

Pegging the release date to March 21, 2017 fits with what we already know. Bioware GM Aaryn Flynn said back in May that Andromeda would “ship in early 2017,” and EA CFO Blake Jorgensen said in March that the game would ship in the company’s fiscal fourth quarter (January – March 2017).

We’ll likely hear much more about the game, including its release date, when the promised N7 Day information dump rolls around.
