PlayStation Store May Be Overhauled

The PlayStation Store is said to be getting a graphics and interface overhaul.

According to Kotaku, sources at the Destination PlayStation conference said the online venue “is finally getting a graphical user interface overhaul, one planned to arrive alongside Gran Turismo 5 Prologue on April 15.”

The new look will purportedly match the aesthetics of the Singstore. Other details were sparse, but navigation will apparently be conducted via icons on the bottom of the screen.

Kotaku dubbed the reports rumors as it has not received official confirmation.

The existing store interface has been the subject of some criticism, perhaps best epitomized by this Penny Arcade comic.
