Square Enix also releases new trailer showcasing weapons and combat.

The release for NieR: Automata is fast approaching, and Square Enix has released a new trailer for the game, ‘Arsenal of Elegant Destruction,’ which you can check out below.

The game will only be releasing on PlayStation 4 and PC for now, and Producer Yosuke Saito recently spoke with Express UK, stating that there are “currently no plans to release” the game on Xbox One.

“The main reason for this is that the Japanese market for Xbox One is not strong, so the decision was made to focus on PlayStation 4 rather than to split our efforts across two platforms,” Saito explained. “The biggest benefit to developing on one platform is that we did not have to split our time, allowing us to focus more on the quality.”

“It is not about whether one platform is better than the other, it’s that from a development point of view were can devote more time to one platform.”

There is currently a demo available on the PlayStation Store. You can check out some screenshots from that below.
