Rock Band receives a last-generation port in Europe and the sounds of Deep Purple.
Game|Life confirms that Electronic Arts announced a PlayStation 2 version of Harmonix’s Rock Band for Europe at the Games Convention in Germany. Rock Band will reach foreign shores in early 2008 featuring its own soundtrack to suit local interests. The U.S. releases will be coming out this fall packing new hits Deep Purple’s “Highway Star” and Jet’s “Are You Gonna Be My Girl.”
