Rune II is a third-person action adventure game from Human Head Studios that loosely picks up after the events of the now 19-year-old previous gameā€™s ā€œbadā€ ending. Set within Norse mythology, Ragnarok ā€“ the end of the world ā€“ is imminent. The god Heimdall, protector of Asgard, resurrects your character to travel across the lands and collect powerful relics that will aid you in the final showdown with the trickster god Loki.

Ultimately, Rune II just doesnā€™t feel finished. Its glitch-filled empty world and finicky inventory system combined with unremarkable combat make for a lackluster experience. The game is available now on Epic Games Store.
