You can finally get your hands on Mass Effect 2 this week, but before you rejoin Commander Shepard, let’s see how much you remember about the first one.

Mass Effect – BioWare’s space-themed RPG – had an innovative dialog system, moments of high drama, and a rich culture of alien species, planets, and history. It also had the Mako, but we’re going to forgive it for that, because we’re generous people. Before we head back out into the black, let’s see who remembers what about our earlier adventures with Commander Shepard and crew. (No, we’re not going to be asking about getting it on with aliens, just forget it.)
