Terminator 4 Game Planned With Movie

The Halcyon Company has announced the development of a videogame to be released in conjunction with the fourth film of the Terminator series, in 2009.

The private movie production company acquired the rights earlier this year to certain financial aspects of Terminator 3 and future rights for properties based on the series.

The film, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, will be produced by Moritz Borman, who headed production of the last film.

Halcyon’s heads said they wanted to make sure the videogame did not get the short shrift.

“We don’t want the game to be the stepchild to the film,” said Halcyon co-chairman Derek Anderson. “They’re of equal importance, and we want both to be of the same quality and be the same compelling experience.”

No game details are available but the company announced its planned game will see release on the PC and multiple consoles.
