The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Shows You How Tactics Kill Sectoids

This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Flying laser turrets? Whatever will they think of next?

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified has been releasing some intriguing videos of late, and this tactics display will show you how your Agent Carter – without firing a shot himself – can lead his team to glorious victory. Cover, good position, mines and turrets all get their time to shine, plus a nicely timed Taunt to put the last enemy right where he didn’t really want to be.

This 1960s-era shooter has you, as Carter, giving orders to your squad in the field, investigating reports of alien activity and neutralizing the threat as soon as it rears its slimy grey head. Your troopers gain experience and skills – like Taunt – through combat, but remember, this is XCOM, so when they snuff it, they stay snuffed. Try not to lose your experienced troopers in some kind of alien OK Corral; you may not be able to recover from that kind of loss.

This title’s due for an Xbox 360, PS3 and PC release in August 2013.
