Nolan Bushnell’s digital restaurant company uWink plans a new outpost in the heart of technology country.

uWink, an interactive restaurant chain started by Atari founder Nolan Bushnell, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the leasehold interest and assets of a currently operating restaurant in downtown Mountain View, California. uWink expects to be able to convert the approximately 7,000 square foot restaurant into a uWink operation and open to the public by early 2008.

This is the third uWink restaurant announced this year, with the two others being built in Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California and Galleria Dallas in Dallas, Texas.

“We are excited to be bringing our unique concept and technology to the heart of Silicon Valley,” said Nolan Bushnell, Chief Executive Officer of uWink.
