Wing Commander Arena on Wednesday

Wing Commander Arena will be released on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, July 25.

Origin’s Wing Commander series contained some of the best space combat games ever to grace the computer, and fan remakes of them abound even today. As you might expect, EA’s Wing Commander Arena is a much more action-oriented title with multiplayer support for two teams of up to eight people each.

With dueling and free-for-all-maps, players will be able to choose from 18 different ships, nine environments and two races.
