Your ultimate goal in life?

My goal is life is to relax. To never lift a finger except when I have too, and stay just above the minimum to survive. Nothing more, nothing less.

I have no desire for money, things, or whatever... All I want is to do as little as possible.

"If the child of Adam possessed a valley full of gold he would want another. The only thing that will fill his mouth is the dirt in his own grave."

Contentment is fine with me. I just want to make as many people happy (and healthy, as per my profession) as I possibly can.

I've essentially got three.

1)To become a high profile Hydrologist and not have to worry about money anymore.
2)To visit every continent
3) to get my name published in print (journal article/book).

I'm actually getting pretty close to the first two which is getting me increasingly stoked.

A fine line between contentment and complacency, the latter is a sin I believe. :P

I want to do voice-over work as a profession.

Just made my demo tape, gotta start sendin it around =]

Here's hopin ^_^

Indeed! I am a man of action. I would never be content just sitting on my butt. No point in trying to chase money or fame though...they present their own challenges and dilemmas. Much more cost-effective contentment to be found in serving people and living humbly.

To win.
That is all.

I don't care about money or status either. As long as I'm living, moving forward and having new experiences.

To have an interesting life...

Basically, my version of hell is being stuck. Stuck in a job. Stuck in a location. Just... Stuck.

Even if it's hard or painful, I just want things to be interesting.

Other than that, I suppose I DO have a few life goals...

1) Get laid.
2) Kill another human being. Yes, really. It doesn't matter if it's in self defense, or I become a nurse at a hospital and am ordered to turn of someone's life support. Though the illegal option doesn't really appeal to me...
3) To find and drink a Tab.

Just off the top of my head.

varulfic:
Happiness. Vague as that goal may be, unless achieved, nothing else matters.

Darn it, I was just ninja'd on this! Mine encompases just getting a reasonable job designing video games and marrying the girl of my dreams...

Achieve flight... Im not really working on it that well but any dreamer knows what im talking about. The feeling of wind passing you and gravity trying to tearing you down but you give it the middle finger and keep soaring faster. Looking down upon the world in the clouds instead of up and into them. The true feeling of freedom, nirvana, a feeling that can't be achieved by jet engines in a crowded carrier. An independent feeling of you high in the sky where only few creatures have gone before... I dream of it, and i get a tingling sensation across me.

I find contentment and satisfaction in my life - and that's important. I like living a simple life with my husband, our small house, and three dogs. It's peaceful, uncomplicated, and happy. Food in our bellies, a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and disposable income for small luxuries. However, we may find that with his career we could end up moving to another location. If that happens, we'll just settle down and do it again. Yet one day, I think I'd like to own my own business. Something small that does moderately well.

.

......?

but...WHY?

mabye you should join the army or the police..you might get a chance then (and you know, under more preferable circumstances)

I think I'd like to partake in passion as much as possible.

Firstly, to get my PhD and then eventually, become Secretary-general as I am sick of how the UN works currently. Bit boring but there we go!

My ultimate goal in life is to build a space elevator. If I can't do that I'll do anything else I can do to expand human influence in outer space.

you mean like the tab soda? cause if that is so its funny where i live the store right next to my house sells it all the time...if its something else however then i have no idea

OT:
1.to finish my novel
2. open a restaurant
3. become skinny again.

(yes the goals are in that order)

Kill enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentations of their women.

Enjoy life, find female partner, die happy.

Honestly my ultimate goal is to someday design mechanical limbs for people. Like Deus Ex limbs.

To be happy. Pure and simple.

I'd like to live to see 50.

After watching American beauty again I want to get high with Kevin Spacey... It would be amazing...

to move to a colder country
any suggestions

Yeah, I'm talking about the soda!
WHAT COUNTRY/STATE ARE YOU IN?!?!?

I already love Fritos and Mountain Dew. Once I have a Tab, my life will be complete...

Why... That's a tough one for me to answer.

A large part of my desire, is that I feel it is one of the ultimate and final tests of character.

I think that a person can have an infinitely deeper understanding of themselves and the value of life if they have killed in some way.

Yeah, I'm probably just being stupid and naive by saying that, but that's how I see it.

I'd like to become a general in the military. Maybe then I could change some things in the military, perhaps restore some of that glory from the days of old. I also want to hold a speech to an entire brigade that I start with the line "Chill, dudes" in place of "At ease". That line is my ultimate goal.

world domination of course (either personally or for whatever group I represent and identify with)... I was unaware there was another logical goal available

while I completely understand and agree with that goal I would like to say something out of experience... amend that to killing someone you actually KNOW specifically and are killing by your choice... I served 8 years as an 0311 0317 and killed more than a few people and can tell you you get no enlightenment from it when you are told to do it and thy are random strangers... it's more along the lines of shooting some random animal because there is no real connection on a personal level and dissociation is an ingrained survival trait

Write a great story
Design a great game
Fall in love
Become a master swordsman and martial artist

Pretty simple.

To become immortal. Don't care about anything else. Don't care what I would have to do to get it either.
Barring that I may as well have a daughter and get rich.

To be a successful enough author to sufficiently supplement my salary. That's about it really, I mean I'd love to be able to live off my writing but if we're being honest I'm not really very good at it.

To be a librarian, get married, and have a normal, peaceful life.

Elementary - Dear Watson:
I want to serve for my country... Well... more so than I am already doing! (I am in the military!) I want to be at the forefront of some war, doing what I know best, and protecting my family and friends!

Other than that I also want to visit places all over the world! I really want to visit the 5 scandinavian capitals! That is high on my list! Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Reykjavik!

I'm not really sure that Reykjavik counts. That and you shouldn't give tourist money to plane-stoppers and money-losers.

My only ambition is to create/own/poke the hell out of one of these:

Cos how amazing would that be?

Headline Reading Festival.
Get married and have kids.
Get active in politics and try and help the world in every way I possibly can; trying to stop poverty, attempt to bring peace to the world, unity as a species under one flag, try and get the world to depend on it's morality, humanity, and the abundance of things required to live we can create, rather than how much money people have. We shouldn't be a species that has to pay to survive. All these hopefully, and try and further the cause for sustainability with renewable energy resources and less dependence on the ever-decreasing oil supplies.

I know that seems like a mouthful, and an impossible task, but hell, I'd rather die trying to do as much as I can for what I feel is the benefit of mankind as opposed to dying in the same system I was born in accepting the world as shit.

Pipe dreams or achievable dreams?

Pipe dream: Record an album of goddamn amazing music and go on tour.

Actually, pipe dreams are the only type of dreams I have....
