As it’s launch day for a new free-to-play title finally hitting consoles, it’s not particularly surprising, but fans eager to jump in will no doubt want to know what’s stopping them from uppercutting people with Vi or slashing through foes with Yasuo.
Here’s all we know about the server status for 2XKO.
The Escapist recaps
- After some initial wobbles, it looks like the 2XKO servers are working as intended.
- We’ve been able to test this, but there are some server queues to navigate.

2XKO Server Status – Is the game down?
Riot’s official service status page says there are no current cross-platform issues, but a scheduled pause on ranked queues went into effect a few hours ago.
“Ranked queues are temporarily disabled while we investigate an issue that’s negatively impacting games,” the page explains, and it’s affecting Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows. Our advice is to use this time to hone your skills elsewhere in the game for now.
2XKO Login Queues explained
Jumping into 2XKO right now could land you in a short queue. This is to funnel players into the game without overloading the servers, and is the kind of thing that’s likely to stop being an issue once the initial burst of players is through the door.
We’ll update this page as we know more, but for now, why not check out some of our character guides while you wait?
Ask The Escapist
Yes, and that might be why the servers are seeing such a major influx of players in the hours since launch.
At launch, there are 12 playable characters based on League of Legends Champions. We expect more to be revealed and released in the months to come.
To get 2XKO on PC, you’ll need to download Riot’s own launcher. There, you can install the latest versions of the games, including League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, VALORANT, and Legends of Runeterra.
