How many posters does one movie need? More, says Marvel.

With the release of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy only a few weeks away — it will be hitting theaters on August 1st — Marvel’s continuing to promote the film heavily. There’s a 17-minute teaser playing in theaters now, a domestic and international trailer, an official poster, and tons and tons of character posters. Though that’s a lot of posters, we definitely love the chance to check out all of our favorite characters before the movie hits theaters.

And now even more characters are joining the mix with their own full-sized character posters, with the story’s villains and side-characters including: Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace), Korath (Djimon Hounsou), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Nova Prime (Glenn Close), Corpsmen Dey (John C. Reilly), and Yondu (Michael Rooker). Though Nebula has made quite a splash in trailers so far, this is our first high res look at her character — and we’ve seen even less of Ronan and Korath.

If you’re here for the eye candy, check out the full gallery of character posters below.
