The PC version of Destiny 2 is still a ways off, but you can link up your Blizzard account with your Bungie.net profile now.

Destiny 2 isn’t coming to PC until late October, but if you want to get involved in the game’s community, you can start right away. Bungie announced yesterday that you can now link your Blizzard account with your Bungie.net profile.

What’s that get you? Well, for starters, you’ll get access to the Bungie forums, special members-only offers, and access to redeem any sort of codes you may get for in-game items. You can find more info on linking your accounts in Bungie’s FAQ. It’s worth noting that you can only link one account from each platform to a Bungie.net account, so choose carefully.

We’ve know since May that PC gamers would need the Blizzard app to play Destiny 2, and you’ll use it to access the upcoming PC beta (currently planned for some time in August) as well.

Destiny 2 is scheduled to launch on PC on October 24.
