Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Reportedly to Be Revealed Before E3 2022

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 is on track to see a reveal before E3 2022, according to GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb (via Nibel). Grubb shared the information on his Giant Bomb show, GrubbSnax (paywall), saying that publisher EA may share first details about the project sometime around May. He added that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 may launch before the end of the year, though it’s possible the release date could be pushed to 2023.

“Expect to hear about the game in a significant way before E3,” Grubb said.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was a critical and commercial success for developer Respawn Entertainment and EA, so word that a sequel could be around the corner should come as no surprise. The original game launched in 2019 and sees players navigate one of the darkest periods in the Star Wars universe. It stars Cal Kestis (played by Cameron Monaghan) as he sets out on an epic adventure to re-establish himself as a Jedi. However, Respawn’s Star Wars foray is more of an origin story for the character and his ragtag crew and left plenty of room for more.

There’s no telling what direction Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 will go, so stay tuned as we wait for official word from EA and Respawn.
