Call of Duty: Warzone Season Five Tease

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season Five is coming on Aug.5 , as confirmed by the official Call of Duty Twitter page. The tease is accompanied by a short trailer, giving us glimpses of nukes, bunkers, and the mysterious stadium — which many fans believe will be opening its doors soon.

The trailer is purposefully vague and could tie to bigger secrets and Easter eggs or quite possibly the release of this year’s new game, which is rumored to be set during the Cold War. If it’s anything like previous seasons, we can expect new weapons, maps, and a slew of fixes. See the trailer for yourself below:

Hyper Scape Launches on Consoles Next Month

Ubisoft’s take on the battle royale genre, Hyper Scape, is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Aug. 11, and joining its launch is the release of its first season — titled The First Principle. Season 1 will add a new weapon called the Dragonfly and hack called Magnet, limited-time game modes, and a bit more on the game’s lore.

Hyper Scape is currently in beta form on PC, but the beta will conclude on Aug. 2, prior to the full launch alongside consoles. As with many battle royale games, it will be free to play, with a Battle Pass featuring 100 tiers to unlock.
