Virgin Media is now syndicating their games content from Pro-G Media, the British gaming group.
This is a big step in readership for Pro-G Media, since Virgin Media is the UK’s largest provider of entertainment news. However, the gaming content is not on the front page of the “Virgin Media Portal,” it must be reached by selecting “Games” from the sidebar.
Virgin Media is in a relatively unique position, having control over a major internet portal and a mobile network that offers streaming digital services. In short, Virgin now has the capacity to expand gaming news coverage to mobile customers.
