Since the successful launch of the Wii, Nintendo has boosted its media spending from $5 million to $13 million. Marketing firm Karmarama outbid Vallance Carruthers Coleman Priest (VCCP), Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy (MCBD) and CDP win the $13 million deal.

Karmarama’s clients include IKEA, CNN, Diageo, Good Year and The History Channel and is run by a 22-person team that manages a company blog.
