Tomb Raider Legend Wins Spike TV Award

Tomb Raider: Legend won Best Mobile Action Game of 2007 at the Spike Video Game Awards.

The title, produced by Eidos Interactive, was designed for the mobile platform, according to a press release.

Tomb Raider: Legend takes advantage of the increased processing power and graphic capability of the latest 3-D handsets, resulting in a mobile gaming opportunity like no other. With a revolutionary game engine, users will encounter an unprecedented gaming experience,” the release said.

Prism: Light the Way had also been nominated for the category, whereas Tomb Raider: Legend was nominated in another category as well, that of Mobile Game of the Year.

The title appeared on the Nintendo DS and Game Boy Advance, as well as the PSP. It also was released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2.
