The original Soul Calibur will receive an Xbox reawakening in a downloadable form.
Japanese publisher Namco caught Xbox gamers off guard with word that the original Soul Calibur will be offered as a downloadable Xbox Live Arcade game later this year.
Every character and mode from the Dreamcast version has been promised for the digital release. Upgrades include high-definition graphics and various character and mode leaderboards.
In related news, Namco confirmed the release date for Soulcalibur IV on July 29.
