Leaked Video Confirms MvC 3’s Final Boss

Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s final boss will squash you, then eat you and everyone you know.

For those of you who have been following the rumors about Marvel vs. Capcom 3 – and there have been lots of them – then you’ll know that the game’s final boss was supposedly a certain world-eating giant. Now, a video posted by someone who got his hands on the game early has transformed that rumor into fact.

The video shows a team comprised of Taskmaster, Amaterasu, and Dante, fighting ghostly versions of Doctor Doom and Akuma, with the mighty Galactus looking on in the background. Once the heroes defeat their spectral opponents, Galactus himself decided to get involved. The good news is that he’s very large, and thus quite easy to hit. Unfortunately, his massive size is also the bad news, as he doesn’t seem to have too much trouble smashing you into paste.

Galactus is the final character mentioned in the Twitter leak from last year, a leak which proved to be 100% accurate. That’s not necessarily the end of character speculation, however, as DLC means we could be discussing new additions to the roster for months to come.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is scheduled for release for Xbox 360 and PS3 on February 15th in North America, and February 18th in Europe.
