Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Launches in December for Switch

During the Nintendo E3 Direct 2021, the company announced Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp on Nintendo Switch with a trailer and release date of Dec. 3, 2021. Both Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising will be included in this package, rebuilt from the ground up with new visuals to take advantage of Switch; the games already appeared on Game Boy Advance.

The Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp announcement trailer shows a new 3D art style for the units and vehicles, as the game is reimagined and rebuilt from the ground up. It also has revamped character portraits, showing the game’s Orange Star Commanding Officers, Andy, Sami, and Max.
