Bethesda has taken the wraps off the bank heist tale Dead Money, the Xbox 360-exclusive first DLC for Fallout: New Vegas.

Good news for gamers who can’t get enough of New Vegas: more is on the way. In Dead Money, players look to get some payback on a deal gone bad by teaming up with three other wastelanders to pull off an “intense heists” of the legendary treasure of the Sierra Madre Casino. The DLC promises to bring new terrain, new enemies and a raft of new choices to the shining lights of the jewel of the irradiated desert.

Dead Money is scheduled to arrive on December 21, which means it may or may not show up before the promised “comprehensive patch” that will hopefully make the game relatively stable and bug-free, and it will be available exclusively on Xbox Live. It’s a safe bet that this is another one of those “timed exclusives” and that PC and PS3 gamers will get their hands on it soon enough, although we’re still waiting for confirmation from Bethesda; in the meantime, 360 owners will to laying down 800 Microsoft points will get to play while the rest of us will just have to wait.
