E3 2008: Microsoft Joins With Netflix

During its press conference, Microsoft announced that it would be forming a partnership with Netflix, allowing 360 owners to watch Netflix movies via their consoles.

It only works if you’re already a Netflix customer, but you’ll be able to watch movies with the members of your live Party, a new feature of the overhauled dashboard. This partnership more than doubles the amount of TV and movie content available on Live.

You won’t have access to all of Netflix, just the instant viewing queue, but it’s still pretty damn nifty.
