Epic Games Extravaganza at 2007 Game Developers Conference

Epic Games will put on quite a show at the 2007 GDC. They are slated to demo the latest Unreal Engine 3, hold multiple speaker sessions, exhibit at the Career Pavilion for job hunters, host press events and give a pre-show seminar for Unreal Engine 3 licensees.

The Unreal Engine 3 will be demonstrated in a private theater within the Epic ExpoSuite (ES 5718) in the North Hall.

The pre-GDC Unreal Engine 3 licensee seminar is a full-day event and will be held at the Moscone Center West Hall Tuesday, March 6 2007.

Epic’s speaker sessions will be held on the following dates and times:

Wednesday March 7, from 2:30-3:30 p.m.: “Adapting Digital Cinematography Techniques for Game Development with Jerry O’Flaherty.

Thursday March 8, 12:00-1:00 p.m.: “The Sound Design of Gears Of War” with Mike Larson, Jamey Scott and Daniel Vogel and “PC Gaming in an Age of Connected Consoles” with Michael Capps.

Thursday March 8, 5:30-6:30 p.m.: “Designing Gears of War: Iteration Wins” with Cliff Bleszinski.

Epic will host two press briefings at GDC; they will be held Wednesday, March 7 and Thursday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Epic’s ExpoSuite.
