The rumors were true: Super Mario 3D All-Stars is indeed a real thing and will be launching later this month, as announced during a special Super Mario Bros. 35th Anniversary Direct today alongside other announcements like Super Mario All-Stars on Nintendo Switch Online and the coming of Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. Aside from that, we’ve got news about Baldur’s Gate III early access content and more. Here’s the video game news you might’ve missed on Sept. 3, 2020.
Baldur’s Gate III Will Launch in Early Access for $60 and Include 25 Hours of Content
While we don’t know when the full version of Baldur’s Gate III will launch, we do know it will be releasing in early access form on Sept. 30. Today, as revealed by Director of Publishing at Larian Studios Michael Douse, the game will cost $59.99 to purchase in early access, but it will come packed with 25 hours’ worth of content. The full version will, of course, be “a lot longer.” Douse encourages players not to feel pressure to buy it in early access and notes that the game will “not disappear.”
Also, the price will be $59.99. Don't feel pressured to buy it during EA. It's not going to disappear, and neither are we. Eventually, it'll be a very large game. Though EA is 25 hours of one play-through, the final game will be *does brain math* a lot longer.
