Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series of I-VI Coming to Steam, Mobile

The Square Enix E3 presentation was a little lean on Final Fantasy news (at least until the very end), but we did get a reveal of the upcoming Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, a collection of remasters of the first six Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasies IVI will launch on Steam and mobile platforms.

“Mobile platforms” in this case means it’ll be available on Android and iPhone. It’s a bit of a surprise that Square Enix didn’t announce the games for Nintendo Switch  (or any other consoles) as well, though it’s possible that reveal is coming in the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct. Perhaps there we’ll see actual footage of the remasters, which wasn’t really visible in this trailer. Keep your expectations in check though. Stay tuned for further news on the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, such as a release window for these long-awaited faithful ports of Final Fantasy IVI.
