Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’s Yuffie DLC has received an official title – Episode INTERmission. Square Enix has revealed that name plus several new details, including the expansion’s cast of voice actors.

The DLC will see you step into the shoes of Yuffie Kisaragi as she attempts to steal a powerful materia from the Shinra Corporation and “restore glory to her homeland.” Yuffie specializes in both close- and long-range combat thanks to her throwing star weapon. She also has long-range ninjutsu, which can be augmented with fire, ice, lightning, or wind thanks to her Elemental Ninjutsu ability.

Additionally, Yuffie has her Banishment and Windstorm abilities. Banishment is described as an attack that increases its damage output based on the amount of the Active Time Battle (ATB) spent before its use. Windstorm, meanwhile, is a gust of wind that damages enemies while also bringing them in for close combat. Square Enix promises that players will “enjoy an expanded gameplay experience featuring multiple new combat and gameplay additions” when Episode INTERmission arrives in June.

Today’s news drop also gave us the English cast list for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’s DLC. You can see all of the characters and their voice actors below:

  • Yuffie Kisaragi, voiced by Suzie Yeung
  • Sonon Kusakabe, voiced by Aleks Le
  • Weiss, voiced by Daman Mills
  • Zhijie, voiced by Griffin Puatu
  • Nayo, voiced by Ashley Boettcher
  • Billy Bob, voiced by David Goldstein
  • Polk, voiced by Daniel Amerman

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade was announced earlier this year as a PlayStation 5 upgrade of Square Enix’s remake that launched last year. This enhanced version of the game comes with better visuals and various gameplay enhancements. The game will be available as a free download for owners of the original remake, or it can be purchased separately on PlayStation 5 for $69.99. For those who download the free upgrade, Episode INTERmission will cost a separate $19.99 to access.
