Japan’s most notorious monster is coming to Sony consoles next year.
Many (okay, two) hours into The Game Awards, we’ve gotten our first actual surprise announcement: a Godzilla game is coming to PS3 and PS4. The news was broken via this very brief teaser trailer, which seems to be the recurring theme for the show.
This continues a big year for the legendary monster, as he destroyed box offices earlier this year upon the release of the first Godzilla movie in over a decade. Now you don’t even have to wait for Godzilla 2 to get your movie monster fix; you can just experience the city-destroying havoc for yourself.
Godzilla is due out for the PS3 and PS4 in 2015.
