Idaho Couple Weds In Katamari Ceremony

As if expressing eternal devotion to one another wasn’t enough, recently married Idaho couple Aidra Frazier and Ernest Leitch also used their nuptials to extol affection for the quirky world of Katamari Damacy.

Much to the glee and dismay of the internet’s gathered masses, the entire ceremony was captured for posterity in a strikingly clear slideshow of images. Everything from the wedding party’s theme-appropriate headgear to the Katamari ring cushion is now frozen in time for the couple to reflect back on well into their golden years.

Of course, this also means that the confused, near-irate expressions on some of the wedding guests are also on display. You can almost hear some of the older generation pictured at the ceremony gritting their false teeth and wondering why they even bothered winning World War II if this was the sort of future their spawn would envision.

More importantly though, the bride and groom seem to be enjoying themselves amidst the festivities, and in the end, isn’t that what true love is all about? It just isn’t a wedding without the happy couple telling a group of assembled friends and family to figuratively “go screw themselves” in a hail of brightly colored Namco Bandai gaming icons.
