Peripheral producer Mad Catz Interactive, Inc., Nintendo, and the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. have partnered to produce a new Nintendo DS Lite Pink Tech Pack to be sold within the continental United States of America. Charity will receive ten percent of the net wholesale price from the unit’s sales.

Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz, commented, “Mad Catz is proud to offer our support to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. We are particularly pleased that our recently acquired Joytech brand was able to offer this unique accessory solution to both expand our opportunities within the market while supporting this important foundation.”

“Mad Catz and Joytech are trusted brands that appeal to millions of gamers across America and thus we look forward to working with Mad Catz to raise awareness further through a bespoke product such as this,” added Janelle Hail, President and Chief Executive Officer for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Joytech branded DS Lite Tech Pack contains all pink accessories targeted at the female market, including: carry case, in-car power adapter, USB charge cable, two Game Cases and two Stylus Pens. The packaging informs customers of the contribution made to the foundation on their behalf with each purchase. This collection is available at Circuit City for $19.99.
