Capcom has announced Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam.

The new collection will bundle all four Mega Man Zero titles, originally released on the Game Boy Advance, and both Mega Man ZX titles, originally released on the Nintendo DS.

Like previous bundles released under the “Legacy Collection” banner, Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will be laden with bonus modes, extra content, and fancy emulation options. Every game in the collection will be playable in either its original pixel art form or through a filter that updates and smooths out its original jaggedness. Reams of Toru Nakayama’s gorgeous concept art will be viewable through a gallery, and the games’ soundtracks can be listened to in an in-game music player.

The notoriously challenging games will also feature an optional Casual Scenario Mode, which will insulate players from failure so that they can enjoy the games’ worlds and stories without stressing precise jumps or difficult boss fights. A newly implemented Save-Assist feature will also give players the option to plop down save points mid-stage, to make each title even more approachable.

A new game mode, Z-Chaser, will see players racing across levels to compete for the best times, a welcome addition to a series with a rich speedrunning community.

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection comes out Jan. 21, 2020.
