Announcement trailer: Polygon Treehouse and Whitethorn Games revealed Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, an adventure that puts players on an island with Greek gods.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island Is a Chill Adventure with Greek Gods on Vacation

Röki developer Polygon Treehouse has teamed up with publisher Whitethorn Games to create Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, a clever “friend ‘em up” that puts players on a deserted island with Greek gods. This soft and cozy adventure puts a tropical spin on icons like Hades, Zeus, and Athena in a way that sees them taking a vacation from their godly duties. Players take on the role of Alex, a mortal backpacker who is tasked with befriending the Greek legends and restoring the island to its former glory. Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island received its announcement trailer today, which does a great job of showcasing the many pleasant locations tucked away on the forgotten island, along with a basic synopsis:

After her trip is interrupted by a terrible storm, Alex washes up onto the sunny shores of Ambrosia Island, the mysterious forgotten home of the long-lost Greek Gods. But something is wrong — the Gods have forgotten who they are! Alex must explore the island, seeking out strange new friends, helping them to restore their lost memories and find her own way home.

Röki, Polygon Treehouse’s previous project, was a puzzle adventure that came to PC in 2020 and then eventually to consoles in the following year. Hopefully Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island will get the same treatment. For now, you can at least expect it to arrive on PC sometime in the future.
