Penny Arcade Game Goes Gold

Hothead Games has announced a worldwide release date for Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One.

Set in a twisted vision of the 1920s, On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness is an RPG-adventure game featuring the Startling Developments Detective Agency, made up of Penny Arcade lead characters Gabe and Tycho. Featuring the distinctive artwork of Mike “Gabe” Krahulik with story and dialog by Jerry “Tycho” Holkins, the game follows the pair as they move through an pulp-horror-alternate-universe solving strange mysteries in the city of New Arcadia.

Penny Arcade: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episosde One will be launched worldwide via Xbox Live (except Korea) as well as the Greenhouse platform on May 21 for Windows, Mac and Linux. The game has been rated M (Mature) and will retail for $19.95 over Greenhouse, and 1600 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live. More information is available at rainslick.com.
