Playable AAAAaaAAAaaaalpha Test Now Available

Dejobaan Games has released a playable alpha test of AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! – A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, possibly the most inconveniently named game in the history of the industry.

The alpha test features eight levels of virtual skyscrapers for players to leap from and sail past in a surreal base jumping simulation. Players will rack up points as they negotiate obstacles and hit targets on the way down, with bonuses awarded for such things as hugging buildings, landing in target zones and not breaking every bone in your fool body when you go splat on the pavement.

I’ve played through several of the levels and it’s actually quite a bit of fun, albeit very simple and not the sort of thing that’s going to eat up your day. Failure, which is to say the aforementioned splat, isn’t as “impactful” as it could be, but as the game itself notes this is an “ugly alpha test,” playable but lacking in many features.

The full version of AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! – A Reckless Disregard for Gravity is slated for release later in 2009 for the PC. More information and a link to download the 120 megabyte test release can be found at dejobaan.com/aaaa.
