Real Life Zelda Adventure ‘Defenders of the Triforce’ Coming to Select Cities

Nintendo has announced a partnership with Escape Room Creator SCRAP for a real life Zelda adventure.

Nintendo announced today a partnership with Escape Room Creator SCRAP to provide a real life (yes, real life) Zelda adventure to fans.The multi-city “Puzzle Tour” will task teams of six people with sovling a mystery “in a huge area, all within a set time limit.” According to the press release, participants will be able to “interact with classic items and characters seen in The Legend of Zelda series,” specifically Gorons, Zoras, and the Kokiri.

The adventure, named “Defenders of the Triforce,” will begin in January. So far, dates have been revealed for San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego, with dates yet to be revealed for Seattle, Phoenix, Houston, Chicago, and New York. Tickets can be reserved here.

“At Nintendo, we’re always looking for ways to offer new experiences for all of our fans, and expose our characters and franchises to new audiences,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Partnering with SCRAP allows us to offer a new perspective on this legendary series.”

“We wanted to make sure ‘Defenders of the Triforce’ felt as authentic as possible,” said Doc Preuss, Real Escape Game Producer for SCRAP. “Fans of The Legend of Zelda series will adore the tour and won’t want to miss it.”
