Crash Bandicoot 4 Coming to Switch, PS5, & XSX in March, PC Later

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has finally been announced for Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. Publisher Activision and developer Toys for Bob revealed that the longtime-coming fourth installment in the platformer will make its way to the aforementioned consoles on March 12, after first launching late last year. A PC version is coming to Battle.net at an unspecified date later this year, and those who purchased the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be eligible for free PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S upgrades at launch (unless you are located in Japan).

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will, of course, come with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X |S enhancements when it launches this March, including 4K resolution at 60 FPS, better loading times, and 3D audio. The game will also make use of the PS5’s unique DualSense functionality for adaptive triggers. The PC version has not been fully detailed yet.

You can already preorder the Switch version of Crash Bandicoot 4 in certain territories today for $39.99. Preorders have begun for the $39.99 undated PC version as well, but you evidently can’t preorder the $59.99 PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S versions yet.
