Megan Fox Appears in Call of Duty: Ghosts Live-Action Trailer

The new, live-action Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer “Epic Night Out” features a memorable trip to Vegas and an appearance by none other than Megan Fox.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the Call of Duty: Ghosts “Free Fall” gameplay trailer that struck earlier this week, but “Epic Night Out” is definitely up my alley. It’s silly, too, but in a good way: Four guys running around in the ruins of Vegas, dodging explosions and shooting at everything that moves, while the Chairman of the Board struts his stuff in the background. And Megan Fox! That actually isn’t a highlight for me, I had no idea it was her at all until I paid some attention to the description, but what’s a Call of Duty ad without at least one celebrity appearance?

It’s not quite up to the level of the great Black Ops ad from 2010 but it’s still a lot of fun and really, I think this is how it should be done: Forget all that “war is hell” stuff and focus on “videogames are cool” instead. There’s a lot more credibility to be had from that vantage point.

Call of Duty: Ghosts comes out on November 5 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and PC, and as a launch title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
