Microsoft Studios has delayed the release of Xbox One exclusive from Alan Wake developer.

Quantum Break, currently in development by Remedy Software, will be arriving later than previously anticipated. In a press release today, Microsoft Studios has announced the Xbox One exclusive game will now launch in the spring of 2016.

First revealed alongside the Xbox One console in 2013, the third-person action title is set in the aftermath of a time travel experiment gone awry. The game will incorporate a live-action television series, elements of which will change based on decisions players make.

No specific reason for the delay has been cited, with Microsoft Studios simply pointing to their list of remaining exclusives for 2015 (which includes titles in the Halo, Fable, and Forza franchises), calling it, “the strongest games lineup in Xbox history.”
