The Mandalorian Drops Four New Character Posters for Season 2

Were there just way too many moving pictures for you in the trailer for The Mandalorian season 2? Then here are some character posters to assuage your churning, motion-sick stomach. The second season of the show drops at the end of the month on Disney+, and Disney is reminding us with these four character posters showing off our four returning heroes.

The posters feature the titular Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal), the Child (better known to the internet as Baby Yoda), bounty hunter Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), and ex-rebel trooper Cara Dune (Gina Carano). There’s not much new to see here — Carano appears to once again be leaning against something casually — and the posters kind of look like someone ran them through a grainy filter and applied one of those “artwork” ones as well, but it is more Mandalorian so it’s hard to complain.

These won’t be the only characters arriving in The Mandalorian season 2, of course. Showrunner Jon Favreau is planning a ton of callbacks and cameos this season, including the possible return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars‘ Ahsoka, Boba Fett himself, and a host of other characters both known and unknown. We’ll also be getting a host of new high-quality directors taking a shot at the franchise. That’s not to mention the most exciting return of an inanimate object in all of media: the Darksaber.

The second season is said to focus on Mando’s quest to find the Child’s home planet as he is hunted by nearly the entire galaxy. The Mandalorian¬†lands on Oct. 30 on Disney+.
