"Fine, but if some blood doesn't spill i wont be satisfied." He said staring down at the new sword, switching the element to ice as he thought of using the weapon. | |
"Hey Sil!" Em said friendily, taking her legs off the opposite seat so she wasn't taking up too much room. She was impatient to get started, although it was barely sunset yet. | |
"Understood, now get your nordic ass on that caravan." He responded, pointing outside. | |
Magnis saluted the lord and ran towards the caravan, for some reason diving into a seat while making a scream. "Graggggh!" | |
"Aaaargh!" Em joined in with the random screaming, although he had made her jump a little aswell. She was full of energy by now. | |
"Hey Em how ya been doin'" Silbarand said, starting on his sword with the whetstone. | |
"I'm good. You wanna buy a watch?" She smiled cheekily, showing him the small collection of watches on the inside of her coat. She was tired of carrying them around now. | |
"I don't buy into that whole technology crap." Silbarand said. "All I need is a piece of steel and my own strength." | |
The caravan started with a slight jolt, apparently the wheel was resting just behind a stone, | |
"Whoa!" Em giggled as they all jolted in the air with the carriage. She leaned out of the window slightly as it picked up speed, feeling a sharp breeze against her face. | |
Aricla reached the caravan and bent over double to catch her breath. | |
Magnis leaned his head out the window to get a look at the lizards, big scaled and they looked surprisingly tasty. "Do people eat these lizards?" He asked curiously to the other members of the caravan. | |
"Only if you're really hungry I guess." Em replied, bringing her head back into the carriage so she wouldn't headbutt anyone they passed. | |
Silbarand looked up at Magnis. "Well no they don't. But I'm sure that wouldn't stop you. The rules of 'Humans' never seem to be the same for you." he said. "Ya big brute." he added. | |
"Well excuse me for thinking that lizards wouldn't be good if they were deep fried." Magnis said sarcastically to Sil. "Hell, im pretty sure that other people would taste good when deep fried, damn now im hungry!" He finished his sentence with a chuckle as he continued to stare at the lizards. | |
Em thought for a minute. | |
"Well when my Jiryu hatches I hope you'll suppress your lizard-eating urges." Silbarand chuckled. | |
"I can't believe you are seriously discussing whether or not to eat the things pulling the caravan . You know? The things that might need to take us back as well?." Aricla shook her head at her new companions. | |
"Well us three have known each other for a while and we've had weirder conversations than this one." Silbarand said. "Hey Em, remember when Magnis told us that he could lift the entire caravan?" Silbarand chuckled at the memory. He turned back to Ari. "He wanted to prove it and when he tried he ended up hurting his back!" Silbarand laughed again. | |
Em giggled. "Well he did manage to lift it for a little bit." | |
Ari chuckled. | |
"Sure, I'll gladly try again." He said with a grin. "And this time i wont put out my back!" | |
Aricla clapped excitedly. She didn't think that would actually work. | |
"Umm about 4 years?" Silbarand said, thinking back. | |
