ResonanceSD:

How is it a legitimate question? A) What business is it of yours B) It doesn't make what he did any better C) Refer to A).

A: None what so ever.
B: never said it did. It's still a bad thing to do.
C: sorry. I am too stupid to understand your answer.

Stu35:

People take nude photos of themselves/allow their boyfriends/girlfriends/whatever to take nude photos of them. It's pretty common in the western world these days.

yes i am just so surprised that they don't know better, they are celeberies. They know that there are slim licking douches like hackers and paparazzies out there who will gladly step over the corps of their own mother to get naked photos of them. If you're gonna send this to a boyfriend or girlfriend at least make sure to delete it from your own phone. Specially if you're a celeb because some people will only see you either as a way to make money or as a toy made for their amusement and not a human being.

personally i think the entire consept is idiotic.

Whilst I agree with you to a certain extent, celebrities are humans too, they're going to behave in a manner similar to other people within their cultural group.

Also, whilst they perhaps could have used a bit more discretion, given their status, it's hardly fair to phrase this in such a way as to suggest it's actively their fault it happened.

Similar to if someone leaves their car unlocked and their radio gets stolen - was it unwise of them? Yes, but that doesn't excuse the thief, and ultimately it's a little bit sad that we do live in a world where if people put themselves in compromising situations (be it nude photos on a phone, or an unlocked car), then people will take advantage of that - and other people will assign at least some of the blame to the victim.

On another note, I do feel the sentence was extremely harsh, given that people have commited sexual assaults and rapes and got away with more lenient sentences.

Good to know we are on the same page. I agree with the fact that you can't blame the victim.
Even though they should have taken precautions you can't say it's their fault.
I get the impression that you think I am defending the hacker.
I just want to say that that is something I will never, ever do. Celebrity or not. Even public figures have a right to a private life.

This guy...this...

he's not going to survive prison >_>

chozo_hybrid:
They're not even good photos.

yes, I did a quick googly search.

One would think that an actress would appreciate better picture quality...and have a phone with a better camera! :P
