Right? I can't believe folks still attempt to reason with Brain Cell. If he doesn't completely ignore the reasoning itself, the most you could hope for is a response that has nothing to do with your contribution and is even more nonsensical than his original point hahaha.

I don't hold any particular love for B-Cell but I hate gang rapes. Back the hell up, boi.

my dear friend, you may not love me but i still respect you and thanks for backing me cutie pie.

as for game. i already said just like AC, COD, Far cry is also carbon copy of each other in different setting.

sequels are mean to evolved. look at how Half life 2 evolved over original game.

I still think Half Life 1 is the better game than 2.

And I am still waiting for Xen.

Don't be flirtin with my booty-muffin brain cell. This burning hunk of love is all mine

Ladies, please. Absolutely no need to fight. There's enough me here for everyone.

Your avatar makes me think of this Metal Ballad song:

That's actually good, but I believe this is more appropriate.

Oh sweet child. She's bluffing. There is true warmth there.

This game is gonna be controversial with its subject matter I am certain.

For demonizing religious zealotry? I thought the Internet was in favor of that.

The "skeptic" community has a very complicated relationship with this stuff. Seems like a lot of it has been co-opted by people with a severe bone to pick with Islam, feminism or EssJayDubs, which is kind of fucking hilarious. The movement is almost neoconservative at this point.

Anyway, I'll probably get this just on the basis that jimmies were rustled and this seems more...relevant that many other games these days. Kinda getting a bit of a Red State vibe off of it too, which doesn't hurt.

Does this look like the face of mercy to you?

So when everyone has the understanding that no feds are going to come fuck up Hope County, no matter how weird and crazy that preacher is becoming, who is going to alert them?

True, but the problem with that is the same problem I have with conspiracy theories; it presupposes everyone is on the same page and that the organization is extraordinarily disciplined and professional to keep it all under wraps. While ofcourse dissent and incompetence prove otherwise.

Agree with this. First of all, the idea that EVERYONE in an a county can be on the same page is painting rural America with a very broad stroke. Not everyone is an NRA-card carrying redneck who fears government. They have their share of leftists, even if it's just a rebellious teenager wanting to give his parents the middle finger. And all it takes is one to leak the info.

Also, if this is modern times, everyone in rural America is on Facebook, too, just like the rest of the world, and if something like this is going on, it's on the internet.

Hey now, no need to blow up all fierce-like. I can see your avatar perfectly fine...unless...oh sure, I see what you were going for there.

But firstly, understand that some of us might find soothing comfort in the cold. I mean, just look at my avatar.

Food for thought: If Caesar were instead stabbed by a thousand icy blades, would he have even felt the pain by the end? Probably not. I'd say that's a pretty merciful way to go.

No, but it does look like a mosquito bit her in the middle of her goofy upper lip.

Actually, it's kinda funny that you say that because I recently wrote this. (Yes, my current avatar was chosen to reflect this theme.)

Pfft. Didn't stop you from salivating over me for a while anyway.

I would but beating up special-needs kids is generally frowned upon here.

Surprising, considering how quick you slid your ass across the floor to B Cell's rescue.

Sort of Back on Topic please?

Why is Far Cry Primal look down upon because so far, this game looks pretty badass:

Why is Far Cry Primal look down upon

Because it's a reskinned Far Cry 3 without the guns and it doesn't do anything particularly interesting with its setting.

In what way can you make a Cavemen era setting interesting than what they did here?

If anything the most interesting thing in Primal is your main character is a Beast Master. There was a point to the fact you have control over Owls and Cats and other beasts because they introduced some pseudo fantasy magic connection. He's basically Rexxar from Warcraft.

And how often have we ever seen Homo Erectus/Neaderthals portrayed realistically in video games?

Interesting piece. Grammatically it's worth mentioning if it hasn't been already, that there is no apostrophe in "its" possessive form.

Samtemdo8:

Even though the PC version is gonna be gimped so bad by DRM, I am still looking forward to this game. If only I had a PS4 Pro :(

Well it looks more promising than FC4 or Primal did. Unfortunately I'm a binge of the PS2 GTAs at the moment, so I'll skip it for now.

Why is Far Cry Primal look down upon because so far, this game looks pretty badass:

It didn't do enough to justify the new setting, as far as I know. What could've been a genuinely awesome game got reduced to "another Far Cry game" in the name of generating more profits. If you like Far Cry (which, from the sounds of things, you really do) you'll probably still get a kick out of it.

Hey, I liked and continue to like that game, it shouldn't be taken seriously tbh, and am not sure why others do. People will always shit on the ubisoft though, especially here

ADS shooter complete with upgrades and x-ray vision. Not interested. Might pick it up when it's really cheap in a few years. FC3 was alright, but I never cared enough to play 4. The guns didn't feel that good to use.

I'd be the first to admit that I wish the guns in FarCry games felt more like Battlefield's, especially factoring thier bullet-drop. But it feels more like Call of Duty's, but on the other hand, using this gun doesn't feel good to use?!

Also you can disable and not use the X-Ray vision of the game if you want your stealth to be more hardcore and realistic. Heck when I played FarCry 3 I disabled the enemy awareness meter beacuse it was distracting.

And dude, this game would have to be totally different if it did not have ADS, just because your preference for Run and Gun does not negate the need and benefits of ADS gameplay. Heck I find it dumb that Counter Strike has no ADS for Rifles. And yet that game decentivizes run and gun at times by making the crosshairs widen extremely when running.

The Video is blocked in my region sadly, so I googled it and this Ong Bak 2 looks hardly like a 10,000 BCE era setting.

ADS is not a much of problem but game design is.

one of the Greatest FPS ever made rely on ADS that is Stalker series.

And both FarCry and STALKER features large open ended enviornments that ADS is actually needed for such design.

I'm excited for it, but I'm also excited for what they've revealed will be DLC. I mean, Zombies I can take or leave, but Vietnam and then Martians? Hell yes.

Even the concept art is great.

Sigh....fuck you Ubisoft, now you made me want to put up with your DRM to play this game.

^^*looks at zombie dlc info*
Well, FC5 just caught my attention. Depending on what they do with those zombies and how good it is, I might have to pick this thing up. Here's to hoping they really do something cool with all that open world goodness.

A couple things.

1. Tech was actually more advanced than you might think back in that time. They could have made something up to explain it.

2. It didn't HAVE to be set in 10,000 BCE. It could have been set during the times of pre-Medieval conquest.

3. Whatever the reason why they chose to make the game in that time period and to play that particular way doesn't really matter in the end because it resulted in a sub-par product that could have been so much more.

I'm still undecided on this one. It depends if no other shooter stands out to me between now and release. Would be nice to hear some player feedback from both fans of the series and shooter fans in general. The dlc is another thing I'm debating on just getting the Gold Edition for or waiting for the inevitable "complete" edition at half price.
