Valheim Coming to Xbox Game Pass for Console & PC

Publisher Coffee Stain and developer Iron Gate Studio revealed during the Xbox Games Showcase Extended that their Norse mythology-based multiplayer game, Valheim, is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S. The massively popular survival game will make its way to PC Game Pass this fall and to Xbox consoles in early spring 2023. It goes without saying that Xbox will offer Valheim a whole new audience, but even on PC, Game Pass is sure to bring in players who would have never tried it otherwise.

Valheim came to early access in 2021, letting up to 10 players navigate a procedurally generated world based on Norse mythology. More updates, including the highly anticipated Mistlands update, are still on the way as the developers behind the smash hit continue fleshing out the overall experience. The game has sold more than 10 million units to date.
