Xbox head Phil Spencer also chimed in later, confirming that the game will support Microsoft’s Smart Delivery feature. Gematsu is additionally reporting that those who purchase the game on PS4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade to the corresponding PS5 or Xbox Series X version.

The last time we saw a sweeping official showing for Watch Dogs: Legion was one year ago at E3 2019. There, we learned that players will be able to control any NPC in the game, making for unique gameplay encounters. You can see today’s gameplay overview trailer below.

The Ubisoft Forward presentation also debuted a cinematic trailer for the game that was created by Emmy award winner Alberto Mielgo. The four-minute short film can be seen below.

In October of last year, Watch Dogs: Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine, and Gods & Monsters were all delayed.

Watch Dogs: Legion launches on Oct. 29 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Stay tuned for more updates regarding a release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
