Online game publisher K2 Network has announced GamersFirst.com, a new website offering all of K2 Network’s current and upcoming products as well as wallpapers, articles, videos and other information.
The new site will offer all of K2 Network’s titles in a single unified location, allowing gamers to buy G1 Credits “currency” in order to purchase products. Users will be able to create as many K2 Network game accounts as they want under a single G1 account, as well as make visits to the “Free2Play News” section, which will offer screenshots, news and updates about the site’s future plans.
The site is marking the occasion with a “G1 Giveaways” series of raffles, running over the next 12 weeks. The 61 prizes available include Alienware PCs, Apple iPods, Creative Labs Aurvana headhpones, Samsung LCD monitors and more.
“As our user base has grown to more than 16 million worldwide, we decided to create a single convenient destination where gamers could access everything K2 Network has to offer,” said K2 Network CEO Joshua Hong. “With all the exciting features we have planned for 2008, gamers around the world will soon have an awesome place to come together. It is going to be one big GamersFirst family!”
Founded in 2001, K2 Network specializes in localizing Asian MMOGs for American and European markets. Its selection of games currently includes Knight Online, Global MU Online and War Rock. More information is available at www.gamersfirst.com or the official K2 Network website.
