Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas remakes could be on the way, maybe

Bethesda may be planning more remakes and they could be coming soon.

Some retro gamers have noticed unusual activity on Steam that could indicate remakes of Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are in the works. This wouldn’t be all that surprising, since there have been numerous leaks indicating remakes of these particular titles. While it ended up being the Anniversary Edition of Fallout 4, I guess Bethesda hasn’t forgotten about these popular apocalyptic RPGs after all.

While attempting to review Fallout: New Vegas (as life-changing), one Reddit user was met with the message: “You must wait until this product has been released before writing a review for it.”

The gamer noticed the same message plaguing Fallout 3 as well. Strangely enough, newer titles have not been experiencing this issue.

The peculiar message led gamers to do some snooping. One user typed “Fallout” into Steam’s search bar and 12 games appeared. However, when they went directly to the Fallout series page on Steam, there are only 10 games listed. This could be due to region-locked versions of the game or DLC, but it added to the mystery.

For now, this is all speculation and Bethesda has given no confirmation that a Fallout 3 or New Vegas remaster are coming. It’s hard not to have hope after seeing all these strange happenings on Steam, especially since we are in the midst of Fallout Season 2 on Prime Video.
