We just got our first look atĀ Obi-Wan Kenobi this morning, and it turns out that wasn’t all Disney had in store for us today. Now the studio dropped the Disney+ teaser trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, which features Ewan McGregor returning to the role he played in the prequel trilogy. The teaser expands on what we saw from the first-look images and gives us a look at even more characters while touting a story about hope and survival.

The story picks up 10 years after the conclusion of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith,Ā finding Obi-Wan watching over a young Luke Skywalker as the Empire searches the galaxy to eliminate every Jedi that remains. That task falls to Inquisitor Reva (Moses Ingram), who tracks down Obi-Wan and seems to be using incredibly underhanded tactics to pull him out of hiding. We also see the Grand Inquisitor fromĀ Star Wars: Rebels making an appearance and a vocal tease of Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader. The three villains will be hunting down a downtrodden and grief-filled Obi-Wan Kenobi, as seen in the teaser trailer.

There’s plenty more to pick apart in the Obi-Wan Kenobi teaser trailer as we get a look at almost everyone in the cast, which includes Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, Oā€™Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie. There is even a shot of a childhood Luke Skywalker possibly practicing his pod racing in VR so he can be even more like his dad. The limited series (for now) is directed by Deborah Chow.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will land on Disney+ on May 25.
