Super-powers and aliens are all the rage in virtual Steelport.
THQ has been having some financial troubles, but one of its successes has been Saints Row: The Third. In a bid to capitalize on that success, the publisher announced that Volition is hard at work on Saints Row: The Third – Enter the Dominatrix, a standalone expansion that will run players $29.99 on release this fall for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The expansion will add super-powers into the already absurd Saints Row universe of over-the-top, downright silly action. An alien warlord named Zinyak has been eyeballing Earth for resources and women, and he knows that the only forces that can stop him are the Third Street Saints. To keep his plans from being disrupted, Zinyak abducts the player, imprisoning them in a virtual Steelport where they can apparently use super-powers.
THQ says that more will be revealed on the title this summer.
